On January 16 the year 2000 on Sunday morning, I sat in a pew in a small church in Pennsylvania. I did not know at that time that that was the beginning of my new life. When the altar call was given. I gave my life to God. At that time, he wiped my slate clean and I began living a new life for him. Each time God gives me something to write about. I think of it as an opportunity to give God the honor praise and glory he so richly deserves. I pray each person who reads these writings will be blessed by them as God has so richly blessed me.
The Promise... was inspired by John 316. God so loves us that he gave his son JESUS who died on the cross for our sins, no matter what our circumstance may be here on earth. We have only to believe that Jesus is our way to salvation. We cannot buy it. We cannot earn it, we simply hold to the promise of God and some day life eternal in heaven will be ours. Though I never really knew this man from "The Promise", I believe as he believed in the beauty and everlasting peace we will have in heaven. May God bless you, as he has so richly blessed me .
His Shining Star... As Christians we celebrate the birth of Jesus each year on December 25. Luke chapter 2, clearly tells the story of the birth of Jesus. Wise men followed the star that led them to Bethlehem. But even in the beginning there was no room for Jesus. Are we too so busy or so important that we have no time or room in our hearts for Jesus? To experience peace and joy in your life, now and for evermore, ask Jesus to come into your heart today. The door to your heart has no doorknob on the outside!!!!!! Only you can open that door.
Journey beyond the Clouds... Journey beyond the Clouds was written after the passing of a dear family member. So touched by the faith, strength and conviction of that person, I wanted to pass along the inspiration I received to aid comfort and peace to those remaining. I only pray that when it comes my time to make my journey beyond the clouds, that I have that much faith and pure love of God to pass along to those remaining. So that the peace and joy I receive may take the place of sadness and sorrow in their hearts.
You...In All honesty this should have been titled... "Me" I felt God convicting my heart with every word he told me to write. With almost every line I wrote the verdict was GUILTY! The only thing that kept me from giving my life to God was myself. I praise him every day that he gave me a second chance. "YOU" is not intended to point a finger. Please do not let anything stand in the way of committing your life to God. You... will never regret it...
